New use for paperclay

Here, I used Paperclay as a 3-d framing element on a wood panel. It takes forever to get it to adhere and then build it up, sand and paint, but I think it is a nice, unique effect and it frees me from having to choose a frame that doesn't match the style of the painting. Yay!

How wonderful. Weirdly enough I am just painting a fairy woman with a crown of leaves for my new artistic ventures. That is a wonderful idea with the framing. That is a great way of doing a frame with paying the expense of an actual frame. Lovely idea! Thanks for sharing.
